Eusebio's trademarks were his speed (he was the under-19 Portuguese champion of 400, 200 and 100 metre races), quick dribble and a powerful and accurate right-footed strike.

#1: The election of Portuguese Footballer of the Year was first held in 1970, which explains why the number of Eusebio's victories is limited to two.
#2: At the end of his career Eusebio ended up playing in the Portuguese second division with União Tomar and in the American Soccer League (the second tier of U.S. football) with New Jersey Americans. How many games he played for these clubs and how many goals he scored is unknown. |
