Ali Daei Forward - Ali Daei scored a record number of 104 international goals for Iran. Truth be told, weak opponents in the Asian region were probably a contributing factor, as his goal ratio at the club level was more modest. Daei spent four years playing in Germany, winning the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich in 1999.

Dixie Dean Forward - Everton legend Dixie Dean stands out as the most prolific goal-scorer in English football history. His incredible record of 60 goals (in 39 matches) during the 1927-1928 season is unlikely to ever be beaten. In all, Dean notched up a total of 349 goals in 399 games for the club from Liverpool.

Kazimierz Deyna (Player 1966-1984)
Kazimierz Deyna Midfielder - Kazimierz Deyna starred as Poland won gold at the 1972 Olympic Games and finished third at the 1974 World Cup. The gifted playmaker led Legia Warsaw to the Polish title in 1969 and 1970. Deyna, who played for Manchester City from 1978 to 1981, was voted best ever Polish footballer in 1994.

Roberto Donadoni (Player 1982-2000)
Roberto Donadoni Midfielder - Roberto Donadoni was a regular on the right flank of the great AC Milan team of the late eighties and early nineties. The powerful midfielder won the Serie A on five occasions with Milan and the European Cup on three. In 1994 Donadoni almost won the World Cup with Italy, losing the final on penalties.

Helmut Ducadam (Player 1978-1986)
Helmut Ducadam Goalkeeper - Helmut Ducadam's finest hour came when the final of the 1986 European Cup ended in a draw and was decided by a penalty shoot-out that saw the Steaua Bucharest goalie stop all four Barcelona penalties. A rare blood disorder would force him to retire shortly after that memorable performance.
