Paul Ince (Player 1986-2007)
Paul Ince Midfielder - Paul Ince was a hard-tackling midfielder known for his pace and stamina. He was most successful with Manchester United, where he was an integral part of the team that gave the club it's first league titles in decades. Incey was the first black player to captain England, albeit not on a regular basis.

Rinus Israel (Player 1962-1982)
Rinus Israel Defender - Rinus Israel was captain of the Feyenoord team that became the first Dutch side to win the European Cup when they beat Celtic 2-1 in the 1970 final, with the ruthless and intelligent centre halve scoring one of the goals and providing the assist for the other. The UEFA-Cup followed in 1974.

Valentin Ivanov (Player 1953-1966)
Forward - Valentin Kozmich Ivanov was one of the outstanding players in the Soviet national team that won the Olympics in 1956 and the inaugural European Championship in 1960. Ivanov, who played his club football for Torpedo Moscow, usually played on the wing and was known for his pace and his dribbling.

Jairzinho (Player 1960-1982)
Jairzinho Forward - Jair Ventura Filho was a powerful winger who found himself faced with the difficult task of replacing Garrincha. The highpoint of his career was the 1970 World Cup, where he scored in each one of the six games Brazil played on their way to the trophy. In 1976 he won the Copa Libertadores with Cruzeiro.

Wim Jansen (Player 1965-1983)
Wim Jansen Midfielder - As gifted as he was hard-working, Wim Jansen won the European Cup with Feyenoord in 1970, and the UEFA Cup in 1974. The right-footed midfielder reached the final of the World Cup with Holland in 1974 and 1978. As a coach the modest and retiring Jansen was successful with Feyenoord and Celtic.

Pat Jennings (Player 1962-1986)
Pat Jennings Goalkeeper - In 1980, at the age of 35 and with 88 caps to his name, Pat Jennings' international career appeared to be over. But Northern-Ireland manager Billy Bingham decided he could not do without the veteran goalie just yet. Jennings was recalled and went on to play for his nation at the '82 and '86 World Cups.
