Antonio Ramallets (Player 1942-1962)
Antonio Ramallets Goalkeeper - Antonio Ramallets was a mainstay of the great FC Barcelona of the 1950's. The goalie collected an abundance of silverware with the club, including the 1952, '53, '59 and '60 Spanish championships. Ramallets reached 4th place with Spain at the 1950 World Cup. He proved less successful as a coach.

Rivaldo Forward - Although often ocriticized for drifting in and out of games, Rivaldo was respected by friend and foe for his superb technique. The mercurial left-footer was named World Footballer of the Year in 1999 and contributed significantly to Brazil's 2002 World Cup triumph, with 5 goals and 2 assists.

Gianni Rivera (Player 1959-1979)
Gianni Rivera Midfielder - A gifted and elegant playmaker, Giovanni Rivera notched up no less than 501 Serie A appearances for AC Milan, scoring 124 goals and collecting three scudetto's along the way. He was instrumental in Milan winning the European Cup in 1963 and 1969, when he was named European Footballer of the Year.

Bobby Robson (Player 1950-1967)
Bobby Robson Forward - Bobby Robson was good enough a player to win 20 caps and appear at the 1958 and 1962 World Cups, but never won any trophies. He made up for that as a coach, winning two titles, three cups, a UEFA-Cup and a Cup Winners Cup. Robson also guided England to the semi-final of the 1990 World Cup.

Ronaldo Forward - A prolific goal scorer who at his peak combined great speed and superb dribbling skills with a powerful shot, Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima must rate as one of the greatest strikers ever. He is the all-time World Cup top scorer with 16 goals. In recent years he has looked increasingly slow and overweight.

Paolo Rossi Forward - Paolo Rossi made a name for himself at Vicenza, and established himself as a regular in the national team at a young age. But in 1980 he was suspended for two years following a betting scandal. Rossi had his revenge at the 1982 World Cup, scoring six goals in the final three games to give Italy the title.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge (Player 1974-1989)
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge Forward - The best German footballer of the late 1970's and early 1980's, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was feared for his pace and his accurate strike. He guided West Germany to victory at Euro 1980 and to the final of the World Cup in 1982 and 1986. Rummenigge was awarded the Ballon d'Or twice.
